| The River Institute develops and leads unique educational
opportunities for high school students. Our hands-on, minds-on
Cooper Marsh programs for this age group are designed to meet
the Life
System Strand of the Ontario Curriculum. Enjoy a great day outside
and check-off some of this year’s learning objectives at the same
time! The programs are flexible and can be modified to meet the
students’ and
the teachers’ needs. The River Institute also provides co-op placement
opportunities.
What would high school be without extra-curricular activities? The
River Institute co-ordinates the Aquatics portion of the Envirothon competition for Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. The River Institute
also animates the Rotary Adventure in the Environment every September.
